How do I sign up?
Download WaveTalk for iOS or Android, enter your phone number and confirm the one-time code we send by SMS. That's it — you're in.
Which devices are supported?
WaveTalk runs on iPhone (iOS 16+) and Android (8.0+). Native macOS and Windows apps are on the way.
Messaging
Are my messages private?
WaveTalk is engineered around strong encryption and data minimisation. When end-to-end encryption is enabled for a chat, only you and the people you're messaging can read it. See the Privacy Policy for detail.
Can I use WaveTalk on weak networks?
Yes. WaveTalk is built for real East-African networks — messages queue and send reliably, and calls are optimised for low bandwidth.
Payments
Which payment methods are supported?
WaveTalk supports M-Pesa, Airtel Money and TigoPesa for sending money and paying merchants, with more on the way.
